Opening Hymn

Rejoice, The Lord is King - Click on "Queen St 13.m4a"

1 Rejoice, the Lord is King:
Your Lord and King adore!
Rejoice, give thanks and sing,
And triumph evermore.
Lift up your heart,
Lift up your voice!
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

2 Jesus, the Savior, reigns,
The God of truth and love;
When He has purged our stains,
He took his seat above;
Lift up your heart,
Lift up your voice!
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

4 Rejoice in glorious hope!
Our Lord and judge shall come
And take His servants up
To their eternal home:
Lift up your heart,
Lift up your voice!
Rejoice, again I say, rejoice!

Collect Prayer

Destitute King, one with the hungry, the naked and the scorned: may our faith be proved not in dogma and piety but in serving you in the last and the least; through Jesus Christ, the stranger’s Lord.  Amen.

Affirmation of Faith - Hear O Israel

Hear O Israel,The Lord our God, the Lord is One.Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.  This is the first and the great commandment.   The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.  There is no commandment greater than these.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven.Give us today our daily bread.Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil.For the kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and for ever. Amen.

Benediction

It is not enough to acclaim Jesus Christas our Lord and King.Our mission in life isto make his kingdom a reality among usand to bring it to those around usby our words and deeds.The way to do this is to live as he lived:for others, in love and service.May almighty God bless you for this task:the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Go in peace to love and serve the Lordand to give shape to his kingdom. Thanks be to God!

Closing Hymn

Be Thou My Vision - click on 'Queen St14.m4a"

1 Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art--
thou my best thought by day or by night,
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.

2 Be thou my wisdom, and thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord;
thou my great Father, I thy true son;
thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one.

4 Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
thou mine inheritance, now and always:
thou and thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my treasure thou art.

5 High King of heaven, my victory won,
may I reach heaven's joys, O bright heav'n's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, O Ruler of all.
