Advent: the time to listen for footsteps – you can’t hear footsteps when
you’re running yourself
.” Bill McKibben

Come and be still and quiet, catch your breath in the midst of a busy season, and listen for the footsteps of the One who promises to come into our lives.

This quiet Eucharistic Service will have a special focus on acknowledging the grief or sorrow you carry in your life.  It may be due to lost dreams, a broken relationship or the loss of a loved one.  Christmas can be a time when such sorrows seem amplified.  In this service you will have an opportunity to acknowledge and honour your grief, and to enter into the truth that God carries you in such times.  You will have an opportunity to light a candle in to acknowledge your loss or sorrow.

Join us for a quiet service of meditative music, words of comfort, the community of the Table and the promise of light in the midst of darkness.
